Hiking tours


There are plenty opportunities for short, hour-long trips.
These tours are not described here but if you do come and visit us, we will of course be pleased to assist you with ideas for short trips.

Even to describe all long hiking tours in detail will be too extensive on this site. Popular trails like Nordkalottleden or "border trail of Troms", practically run through our Huskyfarm. Kungsleden passes close by as well.

We would rather like to give you some examples of activities that may last a day or two, and will meet all different kinds of expectations.

Hike to Rubben on the other side of the valley of Innset with guaranteed magnificent view

  • Turquoise trail: Hike around lake Veslevatn (3-4 hours)

  • Circuit to Lappjordhytte and back through the hills to Innset (two long and eventful days mainly above the timberline)
  • Yellow trail: Hike through Vasskardet (6 bis 7 hours)

  • Purple trail: Hike to Gaskashytten (2 days) - this trail is well suited for children

  • Hike to Salvasskardet to see the branding of reindeers (10 hours); early in july only
  • Circuit cross Dittiskardet and the mountain ridge to Salvasskardet and back to Altevatn (approx. 7 hours)
